Camino, Day 8: Logroño to Najera (30,9 km)

As I said I had a bad feeling about the Albergue in Logroño and next time I'd have looked for another kind of accommodation or another town.
Anyway, we departed roughly this morning at about 7:30 and after a hasty & scattered packing walked continuously for about 14 km to come to a small village in about half way through today´s journey. That haste in the morning will have some consequences that I do not realize at that time of the day so far. The smell  of Logroño was immanent, nearly penetrating. Some say every city smells different and today I was able to agree with that statement. Logroño smells with burned propane-buthane gas, 'dirty moinst' and something else I coulnd't localize, something familliar.
Walking out of the town we passed by the park and people having their morning jog and eventually we reached an educational lake with lots of ducks and definitely plenitude of plants.
Eventually we left the town completly just to end up alongside very busy main road N-120. We stopped in Navarette for the Tortijas (probably the best I've had so far).
The rest of the journey was a bit monotonous and passing a huge stone and pebble factory finally we arrived in Najera.
Everyone was so tired that we all decidet to stop in here.
I had a shower and than I realize that I am missing all my spare clothes, I couldn't find my plastic bag with my underwear at all!
I decided to take a bus journey back to  Logroño, and so I did. A whole day (7 hour) walking journey took me less than 30 minutes in Air Conditioned bus, I run to the Albergue, managed to redeem my stuff, run back to the bus.
This wee adventure was a gift from God for me rather than a bad luck. That little journey on my own led me to my quiet space and helped me to recuperate and find myself again, being far away from any-body.
I came back to Albergue, grabbed some food and relaxed afterwards.
It was someone's birthday so we had a lot of wine and great time.
I fall asleep in my bed and the time was just passing by...

So anyway, no blisters so fa, great spirit, lots and lots of laughter...

Peace,
Buen Camino...
